These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Fire Life Safety Inspections is a tool that helps fire safety inspectors and inspection companies capture field data (photos, notes, and device conditions during a site inspection) and generate draft inspection reports and compliance documentation using AI.
The Service assists with drafting documentation. It does not replace professional judgment. All AI-generated content — including report language, jurisdiction references, and equipment condition summaries — must be reviewed and confirmed by a qualified, licensed inspector before being relied upon or submitted as an official compliance record. Any placeholder citation (marked "[VERIFY CITATION: ...]" or "[KONTROLLERA HÄNVISNING: ...]") must be resolved to a real, verified reference before the report is used. We are not a substitute for a licensed fire safety professional.
The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice before any charges apply to your account, and continued use of paid features after that notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and inspection data you upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. sending it to our AI provider to generate a report draft, storing it so you can access your reports later). You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload Your Content, including any photos of third-party property or sites.
Excluding Your Content, the Service — including its software, design, text, and the Fire Life Safety Inspections name and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service itself.
The Service uses Anthropic's Claude API to help generate report drafts from your field data. This means data you submit for report generation is sent to Anthropic for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on this and other third-party processors we use. AI-generated report language may contain errors, omissions, or placeholder legal citations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it or submitting it as an official document.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or compliant with any specific jurisdiction's requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated report content without independent verification. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Swedish law (e.g. liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) Your Content, including any claim that it infringes a third party's rights; or (c) your reliance on AI-generated content without the review required under Section 3. This does not apply to claims arising from our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You may stop using the Service and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings › Privacy & data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Your Content (7), Our intellectual property (8), No warranty (10), Limitation of liability (11), Indemnification (12), and Governing law (17) — remain in effect after your account is terminated or deleted.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers (e.g. Anthropic, Resend, or our hosting provider), internet or infrastructure failures, or events of force majeure.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify you (e.g. by email).
